Yaiba is the main heroine of the 7th Dragon III Code:VFD and the primary and most used promotional name for the dual-blade Samurai class female in 7th Dragon III Code:VFD media and PVs.
Plot
Yaiba appears as the default named character for the 7th Dragon III Code:VFD Demo version and starts off the story by arriving at Tokyo Big Sight where she tries to enter Nodens Enterprises' virtual reality game 7th Encount. At 7th Encount's entrance, Yaiba is stopped by Nagamimi as she does not have a ticket, however a young, sickly girl named Mio, offers to go in together with Yaiba.
After entering the lobby, Yaiba and Mio head to the receptionist to gain information about the game, and check the Terminal to recruit other party members. After going over their party list, Mio and Yaiba soon start the game, with Mio as Navigator and Yaiba as the frontline fighter, and hunt their way to the third floor of the monster-infested simulated "Sky Tower". They later get noticed by Julietta and Ally who comment on the two's remarkable fighting and navigation prowess; in response, they raise the game's difficulty level secretly to include a simulated Little Dragon which Yaiba succeeds in defeating.
